The Route 30 corridor cuts an east-west band roughly five miles across the village, bisected by Blackberry Creek, running through both counties with a mix of residential, commercial, and industrial. Orchard Road is the north-south arterial past the Caterpillar plant to the Kane/Kendall line at Route 30, and Lakewood Creek HOA sits west of Orchard. Boulder Hill on the unincorporated Kendall side south of downtown is a separate community (~8,000 residents, chooses its own hauler).

Inside village limits, LRS is the exclusive hauler for both counties. One bulk item per week is free with the regular pickup (chair, love seat, couch section, small desk, table, kid's bike; carpet up to 8 rolls at 4 ft max and 18" diameter counts as one item). Mattresses and box springs MUST be in a plastic mattress cover, taped shut, or they won't be collected. Appliances are one free per week with 48-hour notice. Electronics are QUARTERLY curbside only, second week of January, April, July, and October, and require 5 weekdays advance request. That cadence is fine for one broken microwave; for a full cleanout with mixed items, one call to a hauler beats spacing pickups over multiple months.

Does it matter which county my Montgomery address is in?
For you, no — LRS serves both Kane and Kendall sides inside village limits, and our pricing is the same. We just route disposal accordingly on our end. Boulder Hill (unincorporated Kendall south of downtown) is different: residents there pick their own hauler, so LRS-specific rules don't apply.
Do you handle Lakewood Creek and Blackberry Crossing?
Yes. Both are inside our regular service area. We carry $1M liability and bring a certificate of insurance to the address on request. Fernwood Gardens (55+) and Foxmoor are also common stops.
LRS only runs electronics quarterly. Is that a problem for a full cleanout?
It is, if you have a full room of e-waste. We route your electronics on the same visit as the rest of the load, so you don't wait until January or October. We use the Kane County e-recycler in Geneva for the routing.
Can you handle Downtown Montgomery / Fox River-front alley access?
Regularly. The River Street / Mill Street area near Gray's Mill runs older housing stock with narrow drives, and the alley behind the historic block is standard territory for our crew.
